Anthony Weiner Calls 'Fox & Friends' On Health Care 'Lies' (VIDEO)

Anthony Weiner Calls Fox Friends On Health Care Li

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) took the hosts of "Fox & Friends" to task on their show Tuesday morning, criticizing the ongoing Fox campaign to "lie" and spread "disinformation" about health care reform.

After co-host Steve Doocy asked why Democrats whose districts oppose health reform should vote for it, Weiner turned the question back on the shocked-jocks:

Anthony Weiner: We should be honest about something here: On programs like this, there's been an enormous amount of disinformation about what's in the bill. An enormous amount.

Brian Kilmeade: Well, that's according to you. (pause) I mean, that's what you think is --

AW: Look, I -- I think there has been an orchestrated effort in a lot of quarters to lie about the bill. We went through --

Steve Doocy: What are we -- what are we lying about?

AW: Well, don't take it -- don't personalize it, programs like -- I said programs like yours.

BK: Don't be so defensive, Steve!

AW: Let me ask you something.

BK: "Like" yours!

AW: Let me ask you something.

SD: I can get this guy in a headlock!

AW: Let me ask you something. Did anyone talk about "death panels" on this show in the last six months. Of course. Okay, that was a lie. That was a lie. (crosstalk) The only -- the point that I'm making here, gentlemen, is that you can't simply put your finger up in the air and say, "What do people want?" For one thing, when people ask about "the bill" -- there hasn't even been "a bill" until now.

Also after the bill was passed and he went on Bill O'Riley he still couldn't answer any questions, I think there is a pattern. Bill O'Riley asked him 5 times “Who will enforce the ObamaCare and how?” Tell me how are you going to vote for a 2000 page bill and not know the details of it? Its like buying a house, you have to go inside to see whats in it and whats wrong with it, the congress just stood outside of the house and said "Ok, thats the one I want!" It's also funny because Pelosi said "You have to pass the bill before you know whats in it." I really don't care what party you are in, all I care is that you know exactly what you are voting for in my name and my tax dollars. I have to say that FOX is the only network that is bringing out the bad stuff in the bill, but that's because they are the only one's who are. I once thought I was a Democrat but know I know that I am not. I believe in being fair and common sense, if you choose not to work then you shouldn't have the same things as I do. The GOV we have now is a good example of why we should always vote for experience over looks, I hope 2012 won't be like 2008. We need to vote for a President next time around not a candidate.

Fox News knew what they were getting when they invited Representative (d-NY) Anthony Weiner on the show.

It's not like Rep. Weiner has been very quiet on his strong pro-health care views.

Representative Anthony Weiner has publicly called out the insurance companies, the support the GOP has for the insurance companies and has called for health care reform over and over.

Rep. Weiner stood on the House Floor and called out the GOP out about being in the pockets of the insurance industry. Here's the link: http://thinkprogress.org/2010/02/24/anthony-weiner-subsidiary/

Fox asks him on & think he won't give his al? They knew his stance and they also know he doesn't back down and stands his ground firm.

SO any griping that Fox News may have or the followers of Fox News, they have nothing.

Fox News knew they invited a Truth Sayer who owns a pair and has a back-bone made of steel. The best they could prepare themselves with is "headlock?" There were no stats, no informed research with links to prove the analysis for their words, nothing...all they had was headlock?

Phhht.

Now, I'll await their invitation to another truth sayer, Rachel Maddow.

You think Fox will invite Maddow?
That would be one for history.

Did you see Jon Stuart on Bill O Riley?
Jon was great, heavily edited for teevee, the web version is more complete.
Jon called him out and check mated Bill O.

LMAO!!
He still did not answer question! If their district is mostly opposed to Health care Reform why should they vote for it?

Because that is the Mentality with the Dem. party! Push your agenda whether right or wrong! Do not listen to the people who elected you, Listen to party leaders! Na.zi Pelosi wants this and by god we are gonna get it for her!

Name a district and show the proof from a valid source.

Oh sure, the liberal agenda will push evil healthcare, rather than unjust wars and occupying 60 percent o the landmass of the world. Those evil tyrants that want to enable the poor and sick to have regular health checkups instead of just emergency care, those sick liberals who want to assure that the future generations find the ability to be upwardly socially mobile if they want to, rather than working for 12 dollar an hour in some factory,... also don't forget, those evil liberals actually admit that 1. our country is not Satan 2. our country is not god, and lastly 3. sorry for claiming to be either of those.

I see how you can liken Fascism to socialism, I mean didn't Hitlers Nazi party have the word socialist in it?, so that must mean that all socialism ends up with a short trip to the showers. Just like how NPKR is the democratic republic of north Koreal

You are probably the same one that trumpets the bible saying being gay is wrong, but literally overlooks 65 percent of the bible that is about how to be a social and caring creature, though you have come up with some ridiculous notion that somehow the bible says that the poor are poor because they are lazy, and those mexicans 'they tooker jerbs'. See, people like you aren't lost causes, you can redeem yourself, though it requires hard work--and careful self examination.

Clever of him to do it on the one Fox soi-disant News program that isn't taped so they couldn't excise his comments.

Furthermore the only kind of headlock Mr. Doocy might be able to muster would be of the variety Linda Lovelace was once known for.

Anthony Weiner/ Dylan Ratigan 2012 would make a great ticket. They would get my vote because I love this man's ability to make these liars eat the truth.

I hope Obama understands the popularly of politicians like Weiner, Greyson and many other progressives. Folks like Ratigan, Schultz, Maddow, Olberman & Jon Stuart who expose truth from fantasy.
It shows the trend to elect politicians genuinely concerned about us and our conditions. They lack the republican spin, confusion & anti gov propaganda. They speak to us like adults. These traits encompass the progressive/ liberal branch of the dem party. While the president is catering to the repubs, it would be wise to include progressive ideas in policy. We feel unheard without some sort of non profit insurance option. We don't want any more war, want our planet habitable, want clean air and oceans, and want the human condition to be more that substance living.

You would think it is common sense - people like to be spoken to honestly. Why aren't more people whose jobs require them to be elected following this simple idea?

You see how the right wingers on FOX started going crazy and got really emotional at the slightest dissent by a guest. This is not because they personally and passionately believe that Wiener was wrong. They know what they are saying is bullshit, and know there are no death panels. They are merely paid hacks by FOX, and their primary objective is to intentionally rebut anything that goes against the FOX fake ideology. They got nervous because it is per their contract with FOX, to do this hatchet and they know that their managers will talk to them and be stern with them to ensure for next time, that a reasoned and progressive voice doesn't get the best of them and sway them from the very well orchestrated right wing format.

Anthony Weiner, is OK in my book, it take courage to go into someone else space and call them liars, which is exactly what they are, they don't give NEW they pedal lies, Glenn make his money by being a clown and acting stupid, you find people that don't want the truth, this is how Jim Jone Murder all those people, people following lies because they don't have a llife and have low self-esteem and don't value anything, these are the people that watch the lies on FOX, while Glenn Beck get paid Millions, where he feed on ignorance and stupidity. We are glad Weiner called them what they are.

Last night there was the history of the KKK on the history channel.
Not ever living in the south, It was a rude awaking for me.
Ice water on my face, shocking.
Some of the angry gun toting mobs of recent days are a continuation of this group.
Fox, Beck at the point, Rush, Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin and those spouting anti government are playing right into this para military, fringe, black hating population.
If they had any honor they would try to tone things down. Yet they say they want a Revolution.
The propaganda white superiority machine has been at full volume since Obama became our president.
Fox, Rush and the like are a national security threat and a danger to our well being.
