Five Arrested After MTA Hearing Gets Physical (VIDEO)

Public hearings about MTA budget cuts quickly turned unruly at the Brooklyn Museum last night.

At least four people, including a teenage girl who spoke out of turn and pushed back against people escorting her out, were arrested for disorderly conduct.

One of the main causes of anger was the MTA's decision to scrap the free student MetroCard program. The MTA is defending its cuts saying it needs to close a $750 million budget gap.
