Best Actress nominee Meryl Streep looked wonderful in white--ditching her usual dramatic colors for a lighter option by Chris March. Her plunging neckline spiced things up.

Meryl looks like Le Grande Dame.
I love it!
I love the lines on her face

she's always beautiful - elegant - classy - no matter what she wears - confident, talented, smart - she doesn't need a trophy dress -

She deserves the other six Oscars I thought she already received. She is everything people say she is, and I think the best actress maybe that ever lived. A living legend.

She didnt need it, she wanted it.
She knew she was going to win so she wanted to vamp it up.
I think it's fantastic.

I love Meryl Streep the actress. However, she could use some fashion lessons from the incomparable Helen Mirren.

Helen wore the best dress this year, and the color was gorgeous. The sleeves were divine and the sequens always a classic.

Gorgeous. From the knee down, not so much. Too heavy down low.

I think the dress is elegant and so is Ms. Streep. On caveat would be the shoes, if one has to wear hosiery please do not wear a sandal style shoe. l

I love this woman and am tickled that she is using Chris March to design 2 of her last couple of red carpet moments. I liked this dress, the top was elegant but on whole I found it a bit matronly, but I suspect much of that direction came from Meryl herself.

I think she's a amazing woman and usually never seems to live up to her actual glory.

Good for Chris March...and may his business only grow!

She's the best actress working today...she's not the best dressed...by a long shot.

So awesome just for being her - she doesn't need to do anything fussy, just *be*.
