John Galliano: 'Style Is Wearing An Evening Dress To McDonalds'

John Galliano talked to Vogue UK on Monday about his thoughts on designing. He said, "I cannot imagine being anything else. Theatre and illustration were seductive for a while, but really it's all part of the same thing, all overlapping and complimenting. I just had a passion for clothes right from the start."

He also dropped some words of wisdom while defining style, saying, "Style is wearing an evening dress to McDonalds, wearing heels to play football. It is personality, confidence and seduction."

This is coming from a man who dresses like a pirate? Please going to McDonalds in a ball gown is style? No, it is NOT!
Style is an art form found in few woman, many who had it have pass, you know who I talking about. Today, clothes are for going to the circus. The shoes get higher and higher I mean really why? Women want to follow the trend instead of looking chic. Fashion has lost its meaning to people who will wear anything and the more beast they show the better UGH.

And saying something stupid wont endure you to the people who actually buy product. It might make you a darling of the sycophants around the fashion world but it wont translate into becoming the next Coco Chanel.

...and maybe attention seeking, too? ;-) Galliano's fun and sometimes delightfully outrageous, but this doesn't quite translate to life as most of us live it.
