Texas Stadium Implosion: Casey Rogers, 11-Year Old, To Implode Stadium

Ever since Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones unveiled his shining new state-of-the-art stadium, the Cowboys' old home has been slated for demolition. Kraft Foods and the City of Irving, however, introduced a twist on the planned Texas Stadium implosion.

Kraft held a national essay contest, the winner of which would get to pull the trigger on the "Cheddar Explosion." Finally, a winner has been crowned. The Dallas Morning News reports that 11-year-old Casey Rogers will get to bring an end to the stadium's illustrious life.

Rogers, who is now in sixth grade, started a charity to help the homeless more than three years ago. And yes, he is a Cowboys fan. Read more about Rogers here.
