Starbucks' Farmers Discuss How Fairtrade Changed Their Lives

This TreeHugger was invited to a Starbucks tasting and informal discussion with coffee farmers and producers from Costa Rica and Tanzania. As a long-time anything-but-Starbucks coffee drinker, I attended with some trepidation. But as the farmers talked about the impact of fairtrade on their lives, my certainty wavered.
