3$ per Wp, is ok, but they have all the land to buy. Have they covered all the good rooftops????

wouldn't it have been more economical, and better for the overall economy, to install one or two of those panels on homes in Europe, instead of continuing to Gouge consumers by charging the same HIGH prices for energy while they are getting it FOR FREE from the sun?

GOD Bless America. Yah, since the Windmills close to me are owned by the UK one could be disalusioned thaat this is good.

Is not the question that man should live in Harmony with NATURE, not won it.

Now that the sun and wind are being owned, what next. Harmony not Eternal Wealth for a few at the cost of nature, natural evolution and live itself.

It is good to see a US company building this solar plant. We should lead in green technologies before China and Europe overtakes us.

USA, USA, Fight, Fight for USA

Raw, Raw, Raw for the red, white and blue while the earth dies and man distroys himself instead of living in harmony with a simple, clean life.

We went to the devloping countries and learn how valuable the Supply side of economic can really be. If man continues to consume instead of surviving within his means. Leaving as much as was here when he first came. Is it not suicide to do anything else.

Can man live without open space and nature. Or do we all want to live in test tubes and big cities

Yes, open space and nature are a good idea with a fence around them. Just kidding!

I think that all global warming deniers should get sentenced to run solar plants, just to humiliate them.

The $800 Billion stimulus package could have been spent to build solar farms like this to provide free electricity to 50 million homes in the United States.
04:19 PM on 03/12/2010
actually, that is not a good plan ... but the right direction. You make it so the solar panels are very affordable to Americans or at least something they can pay back over 5-10 years with a long term cost of energy savings. That way the stimulus is paid back and not just lost. That is a win-win for everyone. Free is bad ... who are the 50M households that get this and who decides?

I get that you were looking from a higher level about money better spent on stimulus.
