The lasting power that Mario has experienced is ridiculous. When he was first introduced, he was playing second fiddle to Donkey Kong and was just called "Jumpman." Lame. Now look at him. 30 years have passed and fans are still paying tribute to the portly plumber, bringing him (and his world) to life with their awesome creations.
