Premature Duggar Baby Josie Is Getting Bigger (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

Baby Josie Duggar, who was born prematurely in December (but not due until March 18), is still in the NICU but is slowly gaining strength.

In a clip of the '19 Kids and Counting' episode to air Tuesday night, a nurse says Josie now weighs 2 lbs., 3 1/2 oz and eats breast milk pumped from mom Michelle at a rate of a teaspoon an hour.

"She looks so big to me!" says Michelle.

Michelle tries to put a bow on the head of her tiny daughter but decides that's not the best idea. "She just loves that calm, soothing music," she says. "I heard she's been very energetic. She's going to have to be to keep up with everybody at home."
