A new route means a lot of new and different road closures for the LA Marathon. The race starts Sunday, March 21 at 6.55 a.m. at Dodger Stadium and will finish on the Pacific Coast at Ocean Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard in Santa Monica.
The new route highlights some of Los Angeles's most enduring landmarks and iconic neighborhoods, and travel through 4 separate municipalities.
Road closures will begin at 3.15 Sunday morning.
