Hawaii's 'Speedo Student' Does The Unspeakable On Campus

A University of Hawaii-Manoa student has taken exhibitionism to a new level, according to Queerty:

Since at least January, Tim, a gay 22-year-old senior at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa, has been recording himself masturbating, and uploading the videos to Xtube. He goes by the username "SpeedoStudent1," which represents his fetish for all things Speedos, Lycra, and jocks; he got his first Speedo at age 19 and has been hooked ever since.

Tim has caused a ruckus on campus by filming some of his endeavors in school buildings, prompting the school to issue a warning in the student newspaper:

A UH student has been endangering students by leaving his body fluids on desks in many classrooms. His blog, Hawai'i Speedo Student, shows pictures and videos of himself masturbating in buildings such as Kuykendall, Moore, Webster, Physical Science, Watanabe and possibly more. He is currently being investigated for violating student conduct codes. Please take appropriate precautions like disinfecting desks and washing hands frequently. He is self-described as 5 foot 7 inches with frizzy blond hair, blue eyes and a slim build. Do not attempt to approach the student. If you notice him or anyone else exhibiting sexually deviant and psychotic behavior, call Campus Security at [phone].

But Queerty reports that Tim sees his project as sexual art:

"After I came out earlier this year [2009], I discovered I love showing off in front of a camera. Taking naked or nearly naked pictures is both arousing and artistic for me. I enjoy doing it and I enjoy the thought that other guys might be getting off on it too." He chose his username, not surprisingly, because "I have a big fetish for speedos. I always tan and swim in them and wear them as underwear most of the time. Most of what I put up here will hopefully have to do with speedos, but I'll make sure there are plenty of nude pics too."

My xtube fans might be shocked that I am not supporting a fellow tuber..but have to agree with many who posted here...the dude had no bussiness doing vids in classrooms. Not saying he was putting others at the college at some STD risk...everyone knows that's complete crap..But, it just seems disrespectful to the entire student body. This is the most homophobic story to come along in a long time. If this were anything but an openly gay male we would not be reading about this. The school would have to fake outrage and give the student a stern warning, that would be all.

I don't see anything homophobic about this story..I am a gay man and very open. Speedostudent, stepped over the line by using public areas to film his vids..a turn on to some..(some folks are into that kinda stuff)..and for sure the student newspaper story was out of line...but hardly homophobic..just poorly reported. I go to the University of Hawaii and i believe this student should be expelled. Someone who leaves potentially hazardous bodily fluids on school property (while trespassing) has no regard for other students or the institution. You can be gay and love speedos all you want without ejaculating on tables that I'm using to try and get an education.

And do your research. You seem like a good student. Seminal fluid, once exposed to air, is hardly hazardous. However, you assume that the young man doesn't clean up after himself and further assume that he has no regard for other students. Why is that? Let's assume that he does clean up after himself and leaves hardly a trace of his performance (other than the video now cleverly exposed by HuffPost). The only knowledge you have is this HuffPost article. Is he really trespassing if you are a legitimate student on campus during school hours? And do you really have such high regard for school property? Does this really challenge your educational goals?

Your comment seems to assume many things. However there is clear evidence of his act - the video. Have you seen it yet?

I was made aware of the situation via the (now mostly retracted) Ka Leo (student newspaper) article on March 4th. I withheld judgment until i viewed both the video and the photographs on his (still available, though hes taken the link to the video down) blog http://speedostudent.blogspot.com/?zx=d549df7878830c5c (nsfw) virtually the next day. As always, Huffington Post is pretty late to the game on this.
