Yesterday, Fox News anchor Bret Baier aired his 19-minute exclusive interview with President Obama, where he frequently interjected and interrupted the President. (Raw Story counted 16 such instances.) The right wing gave Baier kudos for the interview, saying he "showed us how a genuine professional TV journalist works."

A President in his final year (Bush), during what was essentiall­y an "exit" interview.­..

As compared to a President (Obama) who first offered 25 minutes when agreeing to an interview, then cut it to 15 at the moment of "roll camera," and then filibuster­ed through the entire discussion­.

Yep... I see the reason Think Progress and HP are pushing this as a good comparison­.

FOX was a PR division of the Bush administra­tion. The irony is that FOX undermines their own agenda by being so obviously biased. After all their fear-tacti­cs where did it get them? The bill passed. FOX, Rush and the like only hurt their republican platform, and, until they understand this, they will keep being the big losers in American politics.
