A lot of ladies are shopping for beauty products at Walmart, WWD reports. According to Alisa Marie Beyer, founder of research and branding firm The Benchmarking Co., two-thirds of Americans shop at Walmart, and based on a nationwide survey of 2,300 females, 90 percent say they like shopping there.
And 73 percent of the females polled said they purchase beauty and personal care products at the big box retailer; 60 percent do thanks to the great prices. The most popular cosmetics brands are Cover Girl, Olay and Maybelline.
But 50 percent of those polled said they couldn't find the brands they like at Walmart, a number that will likely cause some changes on shelves.
