Alexander McQueen Loses Design Award To Folding Plug (POLL)

Alexander McQueen recently lost the Brit Insurance Design of the Year Awards to a folding plug, Vogue UK reports. McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010 collection took the top spot in the fashion category but Min-Kyu Choi's Folding Plug System was named overall Design of the Year.

"Thought-through, responsive and modest, the folding plug shows how intelligent, elegant and inventive design can make a difference to everyone's life," said judging panel chairman Antony Gormley.
