What are celebrities coming to? They don't seem to understand the terms of the deal: we pay attention to them, and they combust, publicly. What they wear should always reflect an unshakeable will to self destruction. If we want demure, we'll visit a convent.

It's Knightley's sworn duty to die of an overdose on a toilet in Times Square, and that's hardly the dress for it. Burn brightly so that we can envy you, then burn out so that we can despise you.

well I think she looks wonderful in this dress and I also think it is an Alexander McQueen design, so she's wearing it as a tribute to him, which is a lovely gesture!

I like it on her. It's one of those types of dresses that look simply made, but is actually very structured.
