Rodarte Sisters Reflect On Cooper-Hewitt Exhibit (VIDEO)

The work of Kate and Laura Mulleavy, together Rodarte, was recently featured in an exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in NYC. Fashion and art industry insiders praised the sisters' new techniques and ability to push the everyday to make it uncommon. The Mulleavys talked about their love of texture, inspiration drawn from horror films, California condors and deconstructed houses and creating something perfect and ruined at the same time.
