Alexander McQueen's ashes will be scattered on the Scottish isle Skye, The Evening Standard reports. McQueen's father Ronald was born on Skye, and although the late fashion designer was born in South London, he was very proud of being Scottish.

McQueen's brother Michael said, "Alexander was back and forward all over the world, but he felt at home when he was in Scotland"

The McQueen family will visit Skye in the next few weeks to perform Alexander's final wish.
