Thought provoking article. When I was growing up I was told either "yes we can buy it, or, no we cannot buy it," which was usually followed by "We really cannot afford it." The word "really" always told me deep down inside that we could afford it but it was not going to be purchased. I had learned to readem like a book and follow up with a confirmation from their checkbook. LOL I am now basically like that. I do not worry about money, I either spend it on what I want, or I let it sit until I feel safe spending it.
