I guess since Mayor Rudy 9/11 is not running, someone has to exploit the fear factor. Shame on you sir.

You have to remember in Buffalo it only takes $645,000 to be a millionaire. It's so much cheaper up there!

I would like to see the Powerpoint presentation that I am sure is filled with well-researched medical and mathematical facts and numbers that Mr. Paladino has that proves his theory. I am waiting...

I am from (a suburb of) Buffalo -- home of Carl Paladino.

This man is an embarrassment to those of us who actually have a functioning brain.

However -- just like "Jimmy Six Pack", our inestimable mayor who told the community to just get over it and sit home with a six pack while his incompetent, crony-run highway department failed to clear the snow of an only moderate storm for the fifth day straight, keeping the entire city closed down and out of business -- he is being hailed unconditionally as a hero in Buffalo.

Sadly, he proves that for Buffalo politicians ignorance is its own reward. And the louder the better!

I think he's a hero in South Buffalo because he lived there and was the only South Buffalonian ever to get elected to mayor and probably the last.

And this is the type of person who is, in part, causing people to threaten members of Congress. He should be ashamed of himself.

Is this the only argument that the right wing has?

If these reactionary goons keep this behavior up, their political views probably won't last to the middle of this century.

I'm sure the 44,000 people who died from not having health insurance last year would totally agree with him.

No way this dude will be elected in New York.

I don't know. New York elected Eliot Spitzer even though they rapidly had buyer's remorse.

Personal life aside (which we didn't know about when he ran), Eliot Spitzer was an excellent choice for governor.

Your zeal to get in a "zinger" on Spitzer left you with a really weak point (if any).

Eliot Spitzer had the intellectual chops for the job - but his ego got in the way. (among other things, so much for the "thinking man")

Drawing paralles between healthcare and 9/11 is purely idiotic, particularly in New York, where 9/11 isn't some abstract sound bite.

As usual, a wealthy Republican who can easily afford the finest healthcare in the world opines that those who can't afford it don't deserve it. If you work for a living, your children should just die if they get sick.
You wonder how a guy can be so stupid.
Wonder if he even pays taxes. Is he among the 50,000 wealthiest Americans who, according to the IRS, have paid no income tax since Bush took office because they illegally hid their money in foreign bank accounts?
If not, good for him. If so, may he stumble and hurt his knee on the way to his car.

ha, what a joke .. he's a millionaire and a republican, I wonder how many people HE will kill with his greedy policies

Can he be more offensive? honestly- do these people never self edit? What am I saying? They carry enormous posters of the dead in Dachau and claim health care reform is on the way. No wonder we can't hold a civil discussion in this country anymore. One thing I know- this j*rk was not in NYC on 9-11.
