Adam Clayton Powell, Harlem Assemblyman, Convicted Of DWI, Fined

Harlem Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell IV was convicted Thursday of a violation, driving while impaired, but acquitted of a misdemeanor.

The pol was immediately sentenced to a $300 fine and a drunk-driving program.
