Conrad Black's Palm Beach Mansion For Sale (PHOTOS)

Newspaper magnate Conrad Black is in jail, serving a 6.5-year sentence on charges of fraud and obstruction of justice related to a scheme in which he swindled his company, Hollinger International, out of millions. While he serves his time, his privileged former life is unraveling. In February, his Palm Beach mansion -- which was listed in 2004 at $36 million -- was transfered to a Connecticut investment firm. The house is now on the market for an unlisted price.

The S. Ocean Boulevard home, a "splendid British Colonial estate" is situated on over 3 acres, with both ocean and intracoastal waterfront. It has 5 bedrooms, 6 baths, a guest house, movie theater, exercise room, tennis court, and 3-car-garage. See photos of The House That Fraud Built below:

Something of interest. Before being marrying Conrad Black , journalist Barbara Amiel was married to George Jonas. Jonas wrote the book Vengenace: The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist team. Speilberg used that book as the basis for his film, Munich.

I still don't understand how these White-collar criminals go to jail for like 6 years stealing people's livelihoods and looting corporations putting scores of people out of work when a black guys, latinos, and poor whites can go to jail for life for stealing televisions and dealing dope to base heads who want to get high.

Not an interior that I'd prefer. I don't think I could go for a colonial-era anything no matter how much the property was worth. I like modern decor. So, I'll have to pass on this 36 million dollar estate. Not that I had the money anyway.

He exists--he's a Canadian who bought the title of "Lord." He is a pretty good writer and historian. Perhaps he should have stuck with that.
