GOP Young Eagles: RNC's Big Donors Of Tomorrow Get Few Rewards Today

Don't worry, GOP donors: The Republican National Committee's field trip to Voyeur West Hollywood, a lesbian-and-bondage-themed nightclub that the RNC gave nearly $2,000 of your money, was just an after-party for some Young Eagles.

Who are the Young Eagles? Anyone under the age of 45 willing to give thousands of dollars to the RNC, or get friends to raise tens of thousands of dollars on his or her behalf in exchange for a "complimentary one-year membership." Those dues increase dramatically over time, too. So, you know, pretty much a wash, right?

First posted by The Daily Caller, which continues to own this story, the Young Eagles recruiting flyer paints a pretty grim picture of the benefits that today's "young" (under-45) Republicans can hope to enjoy in exchange for all that money.

The top three of five listed on the flyer are expensive meet-and-greets like the 50-person Beverly Hills Hotel event which preceded the trip to Voyeur. The earlier event cost the RNC $9,100, plus another $6,600 at the nearby Four Seasons.

After that, it's down to conference calls and a Web site that "hosts a variety of features, including a blog."

I'm a little confused. I've looked at that other controversial RNC presentation that was leaked earlier this month (The one that was designed to play on the fears of Republican donors). It lists the RNC events that were scheduled for the month of February. One of Young Eagles' events, ironically, featured the David Vitter (yes that David Vitter) as a participant. Yikes!

i have been to a few young republican meetings

and in general, its a very attractive, and successful bunch

if you go, you are almost guaranteed to see some hotties

in any case, rest assured they'll be cuter than the typical feminist club member at your average liberal arts college

as such, it is being embraced by many young christians as a way to express their sexuality, and yet maintain chastity

personally, i was never one to over-vaue chastity,

There is a real sickening arrogance at play here. Their idea of letting loose and demonstrating their emergent power is to pay women who are not that into men, to play with them in "unconventional" ways. Complete objectification of women as well as their own sexuality mixed with a cash-based delusion of grandeur. I wonder if any of them could attract a woman outside of their man-made theme parks?

and vice versa
as well as those who are 'switch" and play both roles...

my experience with bdsm clubs is limited, but the few events i have been to in LA have not involved any "professionals"

i dont think the bdsm event

and the lesbian nights were being held at the same time

it seems like a club that holds different themed nights

with lesbian night being one
bdsm night being another

who knows if they even went on one of those two nights

most likely they rented out the club for a private event

but even if it was a bdsm night, who cares?
