Matthew Hollox, a 50-year-old former Royal Navy Diver, has began a "Monumental Walk" for charity. This isn't your normal cross-country walk -- Hollox will be pushing a 440-pound refrigerator for 3,000 miles to raise money for The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
The National Memorial Arboretum commemorates Britain's fallen soldiers. Hollox hopes to raise three million pounds to make the memorial a World Class Centre of Remembrance.
Hollox estimates that he and his fridge will be on the road for about 300 days. When interviewed, he claimed that past service members, whose faces decorate his fridge, are helping him complete his strenuous journey. "There's no way I could do it on my own," he says.
If you're in the UK, go see Hollox and his fridge! He will be traveling across Cornwall from March 29 - April 5.
