Banks must actually fear?

This is laughable.

Everything that Obama, Bernanke, Geithner and Summers have done in the past proves that Volcker is incredible on this subject.

The proof from past performance is that Team Obama will do everything possible to support banks and bank executives.

The ONLY way to control this is to control banks and the bank regulators.

The Dodd and Obama bill, that transfers discression to regulators will result in the same behavior we've already seen. Insanity is expecting different results when the same people to the same thing in the same way.

The SEC rarely enforces existing law against executives. Instead they punish the victims, the shareholders. Everything the Obama government has done was designed and executed to help the banks at the expense of the American people.

To eliminate the need for any more bailouts, Congress should pass legislation providing that if the taxpayers have to bail out any financial institution, then the executives and any shareholder owning more than 10% of the institution are personally liable to the taxpayers for every penny paid or even guaranteed for the purpose of keeping the institution afloat ...
