Swami Resigns Over Sex Tape Scandal (VIDEO)

Paramhamsa Nityananda, the popular Indian Swami who faced protests after a local television played a video that appeared to show him in bed with two women, has announced he's resigning as head of a religion organization.

"I have decided to live a life of spiritual seclusion, for some indefinite time...," he said in a statement on his website.

The 32-year-old Swami had been under siege due to the sexually suggestive tapes earlier this month. The Nithyananda Mission ashram released a statement calling the video "a mix of conspiracy, graphics and rumours", but followers attacked the building.

A Hindu holy man, Swami Nityananda was reported to have over 2 million followers and has over 11 ashrams in India and 26 in different countries around the world.

Awaken2010 is a prayer ministry group in the United States and I am sure the Hindu Religion and the Jesus Men are at odds as we can all see by the posts.

Paramahmsa Nithyananda is not Sai Baba! All the Sai Baba ranting has nothing to do with Nithyananda. Nithyananda is not a magician, he was just caught with 2 women his own age in the privacy of his own home.

Sai Baba is not the story, Swamiji is. Do not lump all Guru's as the same, please. Big Difference.

Douglas McKellor, has filed criminal complaints in the US state of California. With this new complaint, Nithyananda faces serious charges such as sex, fraud, financial irregularities and physical abuse of devotees in the US.

McKellor has claimed that at least on one occasion he "was placed as a guard in front of the door to make sure that no one, repeat no one, disturbed him and his lady guest", the report published on Sunday, Mar 28 said.
