Michelle Obama: Orange You Glad To See Her? (PHOTO)

Sadly, no photos exist (yet!) of Carla Bruni and Nicolas Sarkozy's dinner with the Obamas last night, but the first lady and President Obama spoke on Wednesday at The White House Council on Women and Girls' Forum on Workplace Flexibility. Mrs. Obama wore a Narciso Rodriguez white and black jacquard jacket and matching skirt over an orange blouse.

Don't love the Orange nor the shoes. A blouse with a chintz with colors of laventer and soft pink with a ruffle in front instead of a common necklines for the office. The shoes need to go! I'd see our First Lady in a slingback low heel, biege with the famous Chanel black toe. Perfect!

I think the suit is very smart looking on her, but I hate the orange blouse! She could have worn some other bright color since it just looks like Halloween to me. I also dislike the chintzy looking costume jewelry brooches that she wears.

is there a color this woman can wear without it being turned into a horrible punn, I mean, really, what's the deal? is this all we have to talk about? what COLOR she is wearing, Is there not more pressing matters to consider, isn't she trying to do important things, and get across messages to the people to help us all, to bring to our attention things that are important, http://zxcvnm.webs.com, really?

wow! our first lady is so beautiful inside and out. she really inspires all women to be the best they can be and do their part in making this world just a little bit better for everyone. I am so in love with her, I wish i had a woman with so much strenght, courage and dignity. I'm sure she is not perfect as none of us are, but she certainly has this way about herself that just exudes confidence. As if she could accomplish anything in the world. Bravo! mrs.Obama you are the all american woman, Every man should have a wife like you, not behind him but on his side. A great lady on your side is worth more than silver and gold, she is more precious than diamonds and pearls. Thank you Mr. President for sharing your most valued treasure with the entire country.

San Qua Non, the nerve of you to talk about how Mrs. Obama looks, I bet you have a problem with your looks when problem having a problem with how you look especially if your name indicates your culture, you people are quick to get plastic surgery done because of how you look.

Sine Qua Non: I think she is pretty, are you jealous of her?
penne   09:50 AM on 4/03/2010
If you're calling her ugly, let's see your pic. Since you're ugly on the inside, Am assuming you're ugly on the outside as well. Maybe one day you will be as beautiful as MO cough cough.

I would like to like this outfit, I think the suit is smart looking in itself but I don't think it does the first lady justice. A bit too staid.

Something tells me I shouldn't, but I actually like the outfit.

Nice suit for spring, looks very Easter Sundayish especially with the patent leather shoes. Orange looks fantastic on her.

Michelle looks fantastic in her Narcisco Rodriguez suit and coordinating top. The unexpected color pop of the orange blouse lightens up and otherwise fairly traditional style pick and keeps the looks fun instead of matronly. Narciso Rodriguez is an excellent designer for our First Lady; I hope to see her wear more of his sleek looks.
jean22   12:18 PM on 4/01/2010
Yes, you're right the orange gives it the anti-matronly look we see so often with those types of suits.
