In light of what many consider to be the most difficult campaign of Barbara Boxer's career in the Senate, President Obama will be making a trip to the Los Angeles area this month to raise funds on her behalf. The Daily News reports:
President Barack Obama will attend an April 19 fundraising event in Exposition Park benefiting the Democratic National Committee and Sen. Barbara Boxer's re-election campaign.
According to invitations circulated today by the DNC, Obama and Boxer will attend 4:30 p.m. reception at California Science Center followed by a dinner at the Natural History Museum.
Tickets for the dinner are $35,200 per couple, according to the DNC. Tickets for the reception range from $250 to $2,500 per person.
