iPad, Will It Blend (VIDEO)?: Apple Tablet Goes Into Blender

First Posted: 06/05/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:05 PM ET

It's safe to assume that the iPad in the video below is the first to face off against the blades of an industrial blender.

The $499 touchscreen tablet got the standard "Will It Blend?" treatment recently, when Blendtec founder Tom Dickson asked his standard question of Apple's latest product: Will it blend?

Before the experiment (and viral blending campaign) could begin, Dickson had to crush the iPad into separate blender-sized iPad pieces.

Quick Poll

Will the iPad blend?

Yes.

No.

What a scam!!! Look really closely at him trying to "break" a solid piece of aluminum and then cut away to just showing the guts of the unit. He's only blending the glass and stuff, not the actual shell.

Great marketing, even though he wasted a great piece of equipment.
