The same people here who believe that Obama should not bother with peace in the ME....

...are the same ones who wanted to nuke_North Korea just because someone claimed they saw another ship within 20 miles of the one that sunk.

...and are the same who wanted to nuke_Iran because student protesters were arrested.

These people couldn't care less about jobs or other  Read More...

The bigger question in my mind is who will propose a peace plan to stop US aggression around the world? Look at all the countries the US has forces deployed to. Look at the countries the US is currently actively ki//ing many thousands of innocents in. Iraq Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and even Somalia. Seems to me the US should be actively involved in proposing a peace plan to THEMSELVES.
Israel seized the disputed lands during the 6 day 1967 war, almost 43 years ago. Since that time the US has interfered, invaded, attacked, and made war more than 45 times around the globe, invading and attacking a few countries numerous times in that time frame, ki//ing millions. You are still at war today, you are still ki//ing innocents by the hundreds if not thousands, every month. You are still committing human rights ab-uses with impunity, you are still holding international prisoners, many for years now, without charge or trial at secret prisons around the globe. You t0rture for all the w0rld to see and yet, you believe you have the moral authority to demand another country submit to your will.
Amazing, absolutely amazing the level of hypocrisy.

The Palestinians do see peace in their future. It just has to happen without Israel existing.

Between which entities will there be peace if Israel isn't there?

So who or what and by what action do you believe will cause Israel to no longer exist? Are you a proponet of such a future?

Well....how about voting on on the question is your security threatened by war in the ME? You know, the war you started and while you are at it you could vote the same question for AFPAK, and Yemen, and perhaps Iran, and...........and......who the he// knows where you will start the next one but if I were to bet I would say somewhere near a giant oil field.

Obama will follow the middle east script that is provided to him by the Rockefeller funded and organized NY Council on foreign Relations.

And that organization handed Obama over 330 names for appointment to all key position across his Administration when he took office. Those 330 names came from the 3000 membership roster of the CFR.

Now for the video enjoyment of the disbelievers of this statement.

Here is the most despised VP ever, joking with his boss at a CFR meeting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbnpN07J_zg&feature=related .

And, Obama's economic advisor; Robert Rubin, is seated as co-chair of the Board of Director's at CFR.

"Obama is seriously considering peace." What does that mean?

Israel was created by an international fiat. It's time to create an sovereign Palestine on pre-June 1967 lands, also by an international fiat. Once Palestinians have a safe haven, the 3 parties can spend the rest of eternity seriously considering whatever they want, in peace.

Palestinians have had a safe haven for over 60 years. they need to be protected from the thugocracy that oppresses them. they will know no peace until they throw off the yoke of hamas and fatah who are under the influence of the radical islamists. Israel makes a mistake if they give back any land aquired when they were attacked.

"Palestinians have had a safe haven for over 60 years." Tell that to the people locked into the Gaza Strip with no access to the basics of life.

I agree, except for the Golan. I wouldn't want anybody named Assad lookin down on the most fertile farm land and main source of water for most of Palestine

The US should stop all aid permanently. Aid to Israel is as ridiculous as aid to France or Germany or Norway or Spain or Japan. They are as well off or better off than the US. You might argue for aid to some destitute country like Haiti or Bangladesh but Israel? Why is it that they need aid at all? By the way I would also argue against aid to the Saudis, Egyptians, etc. That is just as ridiculous. We need the aid $ here. Anybody esle worried about our debt? Anybody following Icesave or Greece?
