Demi Moore To Play Miley Cyrus' Mom In 'LOL' Remake

Demi Moore has taken to Twitter to confirm that she will star in a remake of the French movie 'LOL' with Miley Cyrus.

"Starting a film in July with Miley called LOL," she tweeted Thursday morning after a follower asked her what she was shooting.

"Remake with the same director," she tweeted later in reference to the 2009 French film directed by Lisa Azuelos.

In the movie a 15-year-old girl must deal with her first heartbreak and her recently divorced mom at the same time.

I love Demi. She is a force of nature and an example of how to take what you have and turn it into something. She was a high school dropout, a former drug addict who turned herself around and became not only the highest paid actress in Hollywood but a producer with serious credits to her name ( If these walls could talk and the Austin Powers series) she went from being a cute girl to an amazingly beautiful woman where age is nothing but a number.

Demi on Leno was absolutely refreshing. It's nice to see some stars of my youth [not much older than myself] turned into such well-rounded and classy adults. She has a great sense of humor.

I hope she makes more time for movies. It's nice to see her again on the big screen.

Me, too! If one actually takes the time to look at all she does, one realizes she is about making a difference in the world, not only through donations, but also endless actual visits to places like Haiti and human rights conferences. She's great b/c she won't just let herself be defined by her "work" in showbiz, but uses it as a vehicle for much greater things. So sad, again, that some don't get that and focus on really nasty things..... what goes around, comes around
