Levi Johnston On Bristol Palin: She'd 'Flip Out' Anytime I Tried To Put Baby On TV

Teen Choice Awards

Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday interviewed Levi Johnston, ex-boyfriend of Bristol Palin and father of 15-month old Tripp, shortly after Palin's new anti-teen pregnancy public service announcement became public.

Watch the full segment tonight, April 8th, on Entertainment Tonight.

Here's a preview, courtesy of ET:

Bristol Palin has a new Public Service Announcement for May's National Teen Pregnancy Month featuring her baby son, Tripp, in which the daughter of Sarah Palin talks about the hardships of being a single parent without financial opportunities. Now, Levi Johnston responds to the ad - and the use of his son to make a statement.

"Every time I tried to put him on TV she'd flip out -- but it is nice to see him on there; he's happy and he's looking good," Levi tells ET. "[Bristol is] sending out a good message."

Levi says that he's been able to see a lot more of his infant son lately and that his relationship with Bristol has improved. "[She] and I talk quite a bit more now. I get Tripp at least once a week now, and things are definitely 100 percent better than they were," he explains, adding, "I'm just kind of playing by her rules until I have him."

"I'm going for [joint custody]; I'd never go full custody," he says. "I wouldn't try and do what she's doing to me. I wouldn't want to do that to a mother. It's just not right, anyway."

Referring to the PSA's message, Levi says, "Telling people how tough it is -- I know when I have him it is tough. It's not about you at all; you've got to watch him constantly. But it's amazing, too. I wouldn't go back and change it for anything. I love it."

Clearly showing that that he has no regrets, Levi tells ET, "It's the best thing that's ever happened to me, so I'm sure [Bristol's] thinking the same thing."

Well, well Bristol and Levi are getting along now. Handsome Levi will soon talk his way back into the hen house. Want be long before Tripp has a little brother or sister.

Levi has more Alaska 'class' than all the Palin's put together. Even though he has been quoted using slangy language at times he appears to be sincere about his feelings for his son and concern for the 'rightness' of joint custody.

The Palins we see constantly - not so much! Use use use is all they are capable of.

The more people see Bristol's son, the harder it would be to sell her abstinence campaign.

Sarah Palin didn't have a problem featuring her own kids in front of the cameras - it helped sell her image as a supermom/careerist.

Of course she's thinking it's the best thing that's ever happened to her, Levi. Mom already had plans to market Bristol's teen pregnancy by unveiling Bristol as an "abstinence advocate" before Tripp took his first breath. There was also money to be made by creating a new group of prayer warriors who would pray back her v*rginity. You get both checks from Candies and Christians with that one. It's a dual purpose product........Bristol realized it could also make her a PR consultant (grifter) and so they had the newest addition to the family franchise. (And it also has the perk of reminding people ALL the time of the Palin women's "lady parts" and that gives the old white Republican men some little starbursts. They look at Sarah and Bristol and think....naughty things.) Bristol needs proprietary ownership of Tripp for business purposes. I'm sure you understand.

So when you wanted to have your son with you on camera, it wasn't about her shielding the little guy from exposure. (The Palin's aren't in to that.) It was because you were cutting into their profit margin. Marketing children is the Palin family business, darlin'.

Didn't he know the rule? The only one allowed to drag around the babies like rag dolls on TV was Granny Palin
