A Bank of America worker installed malicious software on his employer's ATMs that allowed him to make thousands of dollars in fraudulent withdrawals, all without leaving a transaction record, according to federal prosecutors.

Rodney Reed Caverly, 37, was a member of the bank's IT staff when he installed the malware.

There is just something really weird about IT guys. I would never get involved with them. Look what Jon Gosselin did, breaking into his family's bank account and stealing the money and hacking into his wife's email account. They are really troubled inward people. HUGE red flag if someone tells you they work in IT.

And this is different from Lewis using super-malware to steal millions in fees and late charges from customers nationwide?
This employee will probably be drawn and quartered as a scapegoat, but compared with the BoA executives, what he stole was pocket change.
And the methods were exactly the same, just different computers.

Based on the dishonesty of this man, the top echelons of BOA should be very worried. Just like the IRS, the Mob, and other criminals, they don't like encroachment on their turf.
