Cat vs. iPad (VIDEO)

When Steve Jobs and Apple created the touch screen technology used in the iPhone and iPad, they likely tested it on actual human hands. Developers probably sat there, noting how it responded to the finger tips, and adjusted accordingly. Standard procedure. But if this video's any indication, they clearly had some top secret division of R&D where they brought in kittens to test the touch screen, as well. There is no other explanation for how this cat can paw at an iPad, masterfully maninpulating its capabilities with every swipe. Apple, you've done it again. (via Boing Boing)

Mr. Brownie, who has a serious addiction to 'Singing Kitties' (I do loop it sometimes if he's in a bad mood) wants his own IPad. (I had to take away my spare laptop; he spent all his time losing at stupid video games.) He says it's catabuse if he doesn't get one.

My cat LOVES my iPhone.

Found him chewing on it when I turned my back. Hid it and he found it! Obviously not a good place but didn't think I had to keep it under lock and key.

What do I do if I find phone calls to kathmandu on my next bill?

Mine waits for those thin adaptor and usb cords; I finally discovered that the clear flexible tubing at home depot foils his urge to chew. It's saved me a fortune; I have several expensive portable HDs.

Maybe that's the problem at my house. I just figured they adopted me, and were kind enough to let me stay. I didn't know I was supposed to adopt them. A sick stray kitty shows up about once every eight years, so I take them to the vet, get shots/spay neuter, give them a bath, and then they just stay. Eat, sleep on the bed, watch 'singing kitties' (only one they like), and they don't even go outside. I keep telling them I don't even like kitties, but they don't listen.

I think I'm going to have to rethink this. I'm tired of getting a pizza and they get the toppings.

Yep that's how it starts. Eventually you begin to feel like you have a tattoo on your forehead that says to all kitties you're a sucker. Placed there by your first rescue.

Because silly its waaaaayyyy cooler being a hater than it is to have a handy convenient tool to surf the web and email on. Oh, and a shop online and play games. Oh, and did I mention it travels well? Tons of uses for this thing but none will ever compare with the street cred one gets from flaming it.
