Jane Lynch Recreates Madonna's 'Vogue' (VIDEO)

Glee's Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) has done a shot-by-shot remake of Madonna's 1990 'Vogue' video, to air in next week's episode, 'The Power of Madonna.'

Lynch, at 50 holding her own against a young Madonna, is engaged to be married to psychologist Lara Embry.

The show's falling apart fast, but Jane's is always great. A role that was supposed to be a walk on, now has it's entire plot revolving around her character...sez a lot. At least the producers are smart enough to realize that.

Glee did a great job with this, and Jane is excellent.

Not quite as fierce as the original - but extremely well done!

Grade: FAIL. This is a show that's supposed to take place at a high school right? Well in HS students know that you aren't supposed to plagiarize material. There was no 'homage' here, it was simply a copy of the original. And before fans of this show demonize me because heaven forbid I have a different opinion about this show than them (it tries to use jazzy music to come across as hip to cover it's very poor writing and depictions of characters, lack of plot development, etc.) on it's merits this video puts no new spin on the original video.
