Colorado Education Association Advising Local Unions Not To Support Race To The Top Legislation

The Colorado Education Association is withholding support from the state's application to win up to $175 million in round two of the national Race to the Top competition.

Tony Salazar, the CEA's executive director, told the state's education commissioner in a letter today that the 40,000-member union was angry over remarks that appeared in the Denver Post on Monday.
