First Posted: 06/15/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:10 PM ET

Steven Meisel rounded up a bevy of beauties--Amber Valletta, Freja Beha Erichsen, Lara Stone, Monika Jagaciak, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Angela Lindvall, Joan Smalls, Giedre Dukauskaite and Gwen Loos--for this month's Vogue Italia and put them in shrunken blazers, shirts and shorts for his "Shrink To Fit" shoot. Check out some behind-the-scenes footage...and ignore the kind of creepy soundtrack.

Pure fantasy. Only an adult film star or stripper could pull these looks off. Beautiful faces, but a step in the wrong direction if the industry is trying to move towards a more realistic image of beauty.

While I think the snugger fit looks great on a photo shoot or on certain stick think women in (certain" circumstances, this is not a look for the general public, nor is it one that would work in most circumstances.

I know part of fashion is the "art" of it all, but come on folks, give us something that most of us can actually use day to day instead of an art piece.

Shrink to Fit? Now I know what the look is called. The girls in town have been sporting it such warm(ish) weather hit. If you had pictures of the girls on the street, you could be convicted of child pornography.

I find it funny that the author describes the music as "creepy" when it's probably the least creepy aspect of the video in general.

AAAAHH! Attack of the 50 ft women!
Did they drink Alice's grow bottle by mistake?
Hey- your niece and little sister switched your clothes for theirs on a dare!
Wow- those new dryers really are powerful!
Sue the dry cleaners.
(seamstresses) Oh you wrote the sizes and dimensions in a different measuring system! Doh!
But buying resale is hip, right? Even if it is from the kids section?
Too small and ill fitting is the new luxury.

One of those models is 15. Are you serious? Teenagers should not dress like this at all.

Maybe it's time for designers to object, big time, to the fashion magazine stylists and editors.

Some nice pieces ruined by a ridiculous shoot, squeezing teenagers into too small sizes.

No wonder the fashion industry is struggling. That's what happens when an organization starts focusing on itself, instead of the customers who keep it alive.

Yuck. They look nasty.

This is ridiculous! The hair is HORRIBLE and the clothing a joke. What a waste of time!
