Not to be outdone, the Danbury Mint, a competitor in the collectibles market, is offering a $34.95 plate with a montage of six outfits, including the Wu, the Soronen, an Isabel Toledo and that glittery red and black Narciso Rodriguez from election night. Available May 20, it declares Mrs. Obama to be the First Lady of Elegance, though a customer representative declined to explain why, saying only that "the company does not take calls from the media."

I dont like Michele on Plates, people will start crossing the line. Brings back times when pictures of brown people were used to sell dolls, chocolates, coffee, Jazz music in dark bars and restaurants in Europe.

I don't think it's any weirder than the people who have pictures of GW Bush hanging in their living rooms (yes, there are some). To this day, there are still people who have that picture of Robert and John F Kennedy hanging on their walls that says "two brothers in heaven" written underneath them.

Sorry to disappoint the teabaggers that says Mrs. Obama endorsed this and is profiting for this, which is not true. She's no Sarah Palin who has sold her soul to the highest bidder. The Obamas have morals and integrity. Sorry, that I can say the same about anybody in the racist/hate party.
