It's not huge. It's the same 12 drunken guys in every photo.

That's not huge. It's just a mess.

Meh, this happens EVERY year. Twice a year between these 2. The teams fight at the end of every game too. Snooze.

These fans suffer from delusions of adequacy or think that they are hockey players & fans? So much for sportsmanship in 2010

I'm an American who is a football fan (the real football, not the excuse for a sport they have here in the US) (Go Spurs!). There is one thing that alway intrigues me. There are games where I see flares lit in the stands, and sometimes being thrown about. Who the heck allows incendiary devices into sporting venues? If I tried to carry a flare into a Redskins' game, I would be arrested and have to call my friends to bail me out. I hear it's tradition, but it also used to be tradition to hang witches, or have duels to the death. Maybe we're just wimps here in the States, but I guess I would prefer not having flares thrown in my general direction. Am i wrong?

“Huge Brawl Breaks Out At Soccer Gameâ€

This, does not constitute a huge brawl. A huge brawl is one in which half the occupants of a stadium are in conflict with the other half. And now no longer considered worth reporting unless, in the midst of the said altercation, a soccer match inexplicably breaks out.

I just can't get into a sport that does not allow the use of hands.

How do you think players toss the ball in from the sides or goalies catch balls - with their teeth?

Now that might make it a more interesting sport.

So even the left leaning press finds a way to smear Our Game . Why not mention the fact that Wigan came back from a 2-0 to win 3-2 or that Ronaldo actually admitted that Messi is a better player than he his at the moment?

Who cares about a bunch of Roman thugs trying to be bigger racists than their cross town neighbours? This match was actually a underwhelming though it could have decided who wins Serie A.

But if it bleeds it leads.

HP's sports section has little to do with actual sporting coverage.

They only cover sports-related scandals.

It is said;

'With rugby, the hooligans are on the field, with soccer, the hooligans are in the stands; with.'

I see around 20 people, with about two to four doing the actual brawling, disturbing but not exactly massive.

nothing takes the piss out of hooligans like having two players share a kiss on the pitch
