Desiree Rogers Steps Out In New York, Talks Michelle Obama And Julianna Smoot (PHOTO)

Former Social Secretary and Washington's Best Dressed Woman Desiree Rogers attended the New Museum Spring Gala last night wearing a dress by Francisco Costa. She told The Huffington Post, "I think Michelle [Obama] is looking great," and, "I love Julianna Smoot. I think she's doing a great job." Miss Rogers looks absolutely adorable in this outfit. I love the dress and I love the shoes. It kind of looks like she's growing her hair out a bit, too.

Although she's wearing expensive stuff, she doesn't look like it took her all day long to get ready. So what if her bra strap is showing? Sometimes mine does, too, especially if I just throw something on, which is probably what she did.

WOW! I saw the other photo of her, and that dress is UGLY! Her bra strap is definitely showing, & the sleeve on the other side looks really strange. It is really a terribly unattractive dress. I think one shoulder dresses are the most elegant style, but this thing looks ridiculous. The color is great on her, and no, she doesn't look like she's 50 - I thought she was probably in her late 30s. It's too bad that she seems to choose such unflattering styles because she could look so elegant.

Yea, the first thing I noticed about her 'outfit' was the bra strap showing. I wish she was showing more cleavage too. She seems pretty conservative and needs to loosen up a bit.

All the items Desiree is wearing are over the top $. The dress doesn't fit properly & the expensive shoes, although beautiful, do not go that well with the dress. The bag is hard to see but probably something expensive that she already had in her closet. Desiree has a great figure & often wears things that are ill fitting, frumpy but always expensive which leads me to think that she gets to wear these ill fitting clothes for free as loaners for the publicity.

How can she want to be Michelle O, she make the OBAMA's she was THE ONE WHO INTRODUCE OBAMA TO MICHELLE, people are so full of themselves. She never planned to stay in the WH, plus she and everyone who is leaving are getting back in private life so they can swagger like this and prep for OBAMA 2012, we only have two years, remaining and truly the 2012 election starts next September. I love her swagger! YES SHE IS A MULTI MILLIONAIRE!

Nice shot of her bra strap and line of the dress looks sloppy (maybe just angle). She 's very attractive woman but chooses the look of the garment over how it looks on her. Difference between taste and real style. She ought to try something more upbeat with her hair. And why do women mix and match toe nail polish and fingernail polish? All these girls look unfinished. She'd look more appropriate in a bathing suit than in this dress. She just doesn't look polished.
