Giuliana Rancic Did A 3-Week Cleanse To Drop Weight (VIDEO)

Rancic did the cleanse months ago, but Dr. Junger hooked his Twitter to his YouTube account on Friday, so it tweeted as though new. The text below now reflects the accurate timing which Junger clarified in a follow-up tweet.

PREVIOUSLY:
A couple of months ago Giuliana Rancic forced herself to gain seven pounds to better her chances at becoming pregnant.

Before that weight gain [not after as previously reported] she had done a 21-day cleanse to drop pounds. Meanwhile she is currently "mad" at her doctor for saying gaining weight would help her get pregnant.

Alejandro Junger, who helps Gwyneth keep her colon clean, put Giuliana on a three-week regimen of smoothies that allows salads and vegetables for one meal a day. He just tweeted this video [video since disabled] of himself asking Giuliana about her results.

"Amazing, I loved it," she said. "I can't do the all liquid diet so this was perfect for me. I lost right from my stomach where I needed to."

Giuliana is now trying IVF.

If there is a supreme being in heaven, it will not allow this couple to procreate. I happened across it twice in recent weeks, and both times I was riveted - as if watching a train wreck.

What have they been married? Three years? One? Five? They both travel like spawning salmon and then dump money down the IVF drain because they haven't conceived yet?

Neither one of them has ever worked to deserve anything, apparently. They think parenthood is their 'right.'

I think they should get a puppy. It's easier to resolve in the inevitable divorce.

I remember when she used to look normal. Those days are long gone. I'm actually hoping she doesn't conceive. She wouldn't have the willpower to actually eat to sustain another life. Being pregnant isn't about gorging oneself or eating tons, but it is about nutrition to the fullest. She is looking like her body is barely surviving, how can she possibly nourish a child for nine months with her "bare minimum" attitude?

I like her but I think she needs professional counseling. Sorry dear, you are going to get old like the rest of us. You will regret all of this nonsense when you are older and wish you would have done what doctors told you. Children are priceless

Wow. These women are so sad. The obsession with weight and appearance in Hollywood, no, in the entertainment industry is appalling. I don't think she's even aware of the fact she has an eating disorder which is why she's not able to conceive.

who cares about this ugly woman anyway? shes just an E host and yet she seems like she tries soo hard to be famous. its pretty obvious that shes got issues with food and/or weight. i wouldnt be surprised if she struggles with an eating disorder. she looks sick-like a bobble head with sunken cheaks and shes just waay too skinny. if you wanted a child that badly, you would do ANYTHING in the world, give up anything in the world. a few measly pounds wouldnt be such an issue. shes got problems.

Women like this think an extra protein bar and cup of tea is REALLY splurging!

So I don't believe much of what she says about her supposed weight gain.
(it could have just been her body trying to hold on to any extra electrolytes)
When she gets pregnant, she's going to try to convince everybody all the healthy and
ample food she eats.
