The Hill:

Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.) told The Hill that the "embarrassing and reckless" administration stances meant that President Barack Obama is "increasing danger in the world, not decreasing it."

Price, chairman of the Republican Study Committee, said he's concerned with the White House's "incredible disconnect between the U.S. and Israel."

The Eurpoeans slaughtered the Jews and the Arabs pay the price.

Imagine a knock on your door and it's the blue helmeted UN peace keepers and standing behind them are people wearing ethnic garb.

You are told your house that you've lived in for years is on these poeples' sacred ground and you must vacate your home and give it to them, but you may live in a tent in the back yard  Read More...

Exactly the kind of right wing baloney that they spread just before the unnecessary Iraq War.

That "little" war will cost YOU $ 10,000 as we slowly pay it off.
Or $ 40,000 for the average US family.

So do you really want more right wing war mongering, can you afford it ?

ABsolutely 100% correctamundo!

Words matter in the king-of-the-mountain international arena, Obama's pulling the rug out from under Israel, kissing terrorists' butts with his kumbaya speech to muslims.

Pres. Obama is trying to be rather neutral and helpful to find MidEast peace.
He does not think building in Disputed areas helps, and none of our last
5-6 Presidents, GOP and Dem, have !

The Israeli right wing and ours work together, they obviously planned this
insult to Biden in order to stir up and INTERFER in US politics.

For that alone, which they have done many times, they should lose all
US money. Call Congress and ask why we give billions to a strong Israel
when we need the money here? They don't need it, don't appreciate it.

East Jerusalem construction frozen
By ASSOCIATED PRESS

The government has imposed a de facto freeze on new Jewish construction in east Jerusalem despite Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's public insistence it would not be stopped in the face of US pressure, Jerusalem municipal officials said Monday.

Obama's executing policy completely consistent with the military's prescription for the security of our nation ; i.e. cessation of the Israel-Palestine problem through criticism of Israel's foreign policy.

What's the problem Mr. Price? : are your special interests more consistent with the interests of
Israel than the U.S.?
04:50 PM on 04/26/2010
Absolutely, words mean things internationally, the blithering ditherer's American apology and put-down tour show he doesn't have a clue.

Then prove me wrong with results, what has he accomplished internationally, specifics please? And starting talks with China at the table on sanctions for Iran doesn't cut it, Iran gets the bomb in a couple of years, ACTION needed now, not talks.

And now Israel has decided NOT to build in East Jerusalem: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/36783721/ns/world_news-mideastn_africa/
So perhaps Obama's position isn't so far off...hey Congressman Price?

mamala4,

If only.

If only.

Israel has made no official pronouncement on the matter, indeed Mark Regev, well known liar of Gaza fame, seems to have been extremely careful to give not one jot of governmental confirmation to that (therefore) non-decision.

The whole UN Security council is saying what the White house is.
Too bad some people paid off by christian zionists and israeli zionists would rather stick their head in sand. This is at the worlds peril.

Yup, that virtually the entire world agrees that settlements in Disputed area's
hurts peace apparently makes no impression on those who
blindly support right wing Israel.

Their right wing is just as nuts and destructive as ours,
may they suffer for their sins.

President Obama should properly ignore Congress on this issue. Most members of Congress have been totally intimidated by the pro-Israeli lobby and fear speaking out on this issue.

The Israel government is corrupt, like many other governments around the world. That's just a fact known by many. Separate the people of Israel from the government and maybe you'd have more credibility. I believe many Israeli's would agree with me. But to just shill for Israel government, without considering their corruption, makes you look kinda like a flaming, paranoid tr0||, and I'm trying to be kind here (and not get banned as is usually the case on here if you don't genuflect )

Just sayin'....

With respect to Congressman Schumer, IMHO both Secretary of State Clinton and President Obama are sending an appropriate message to Israel. Their decision to expand settlements in the West Bank area do not send a message of peace to their neighbors. The Obama administration appropriately is telling the Israelis that US support comes with a price tag!

Frankly, I am tired of the American-Israeli community and the American-Cuban community, among others inappropriately influencing US foreign policy.

fanned ChiTowmMike . . . totally agree with you . . .

what really bothers me is that our Senators and Congressmen who blindly support israel and the aipac have absolutely no respect for international law . . israel breaks it . . that is ok . . . they don't care . . . schumer and lieberman should be deported to israel with no right of return . . . they care more about israel's interest than America's

Schumer Lieberman and Israel are all names, you capped America and ChiTownMike, yet failed to cap any reference to Jews. Quite telling, nothing that we didn't know before, but I just wanted to emphasis it once again.

Well said Mike.

Israel's governments actions are not good for the peace process and their arrogance and disregard show a worrying trend - this is not Obama's fault but part of the result of being allowed to get away with too much for too long in fear of being anti semetic.

Those that are anti-semetic need to be called up on it and called out for their actions but I can tell you now, I by not supporting the actions of the Israeli government which I feel are damaging to the regipn as a whole is not me against Jewish people, but supporting those who genuinely want peace, not those who want to get away with this.

And Schumer, should do more to understand that it is the previous administrations actions across the globe that have endangered people.

I am sick of the GOP using unfounded fear against Obama whilst ignoring their own failings.
06:25 AM on 04/26/2010
Israel-firsters have been supporting the apartheid state of Israel for the sake of ethnic superiority, political gains, and financial gains -- and never for the good of the US.
Neither Price nor Schumer have the US interests at heart.
