Update 4/27: Deacon told Vogue UK that he's neither in nor out. He said there's nothing new to report re: the situation.
Giles Deacon is reportedly working for Ungaro, according to Fashionista, as the latest change at the troubled fashion house. On Sunday morning, JCReport editor Jason Campbell tweeted, "It's official Giles Deacon is in at Ungaro," but Ungaro hasn't commented. He was rumored to replace chief designer Estrella Archs who quit last week.
Ungaro's chief menswear designer Franck Boclet has also parted ways with Ungaro after three years, WWD notes, explaining "I wanted to focus on basic luxury items at an interesting price point." There's no word on if Deacon will be assuming Boclet's duties, as well.
