Jon Stewart took on Arizona for its controversial immigration bill last night, deeming it the "meth lab of democracy."
The bill, which requires legal immigrants to carry proof of their status (among other ridiculous laws that encourage racial profiling), obviously didn't sit well with Stewart: "It's the same thing free black people had to do in 1863. Lord knows that didn't leave any residual anger."
Blown away by the bill, Stewart pointed out even Tom Tancredo, "the man Mexican parents tell their kids about to get them to eat their vegetables, thought it was going too far. Arizona, that's gotta tell you something.
