In a bizarre incident Wednesday, a small plane headed for the Boulder Municipal Airport had difficulty navigating strong winds. The plane crash-landed in a nearby field, but not before hitting a Prius on Independence Road.

No one was hurt in the incident, but passengers in the Prius were surprised when the pilot hopped out of the plane, grabbed a large bag, and ran off.

Authorities believe they know the pilot's identity, and will pursue him with bloodhounds. Witnesses describe the pilot as a man in his early 60s.
