Sandra Bullock Divorce Papers Filed In Austin

TMZ has learned Sandra Bullock filed for divorce in Travis County Court in Austin, Texas ... and the reason it didn't surface until now is because Sandra turned it into a puzzle.

The case was filed under Sandra's initials -- backwards ... B.A.S. Jesse James was also identified by his initials -- J.J.G. Jesse's middle name is Gregory.

Interesting that she filed in Texas. She will need to be brought back to LA and fall under California laws. She thinks she can get away with not paying Jesse 1/2 her money. I sincerely think the two of them should be left to work things out! for the sake of all the children involved the two parents are what matters to them and divorce is not the answer! jesse is not perfect and none of us are, we all make mistakes in life but their is still a lot of love in sandra for jesse and in him for her and i honestly think with time they will get back together as a family. i can imagine how hurtful this was for sandra but do not give up on your gut feelings and with time things can/will work out if this is truly what you both want! this media garbage about jesse being a nazi is pure b.s. and you cannot be more american than jesse james. as far as lawyers are concerned they are the definitions of liars. avoid these fools and be a family for your children. gods blesses... aidan walsh southampton, united in the kingdom...

Divorce is 100% the answer in this situation. Do you want those kids to grow up in a home with a HORRIBLE example of marriage? The boys should not learn that it is acceptable to treat women this way and the girls should know that it is important to have self respect and find men who can love them and be faithful. Yes people make mistakes, but affairs that linger for months are not the same as a one night stand. My parents divorced when I was 9. There was not infidelity in their marriage, but the house was very tense because they were trying to pretend they were still in love. Once they got divorced we were all much happier and they became great friends. Being a family and doing the best for the children doesn't always mean parents need to stay married.

When my in-laws adopted, they applied for the first available baby regardless of sex or ethnicity. Over an 18-month period, their home was inspected 2x and a few friends and neighbors were interviewed (their names were provided to the agency by my in-laws). It might not have taken 18 months for that process, but they travelled during that period and had to coordinate the visits. After they were approved, it took about 2 months for a newborn to be placed with them. One year later, they applied for another child. Within 2 weeks, a social worker offered them 2. They took 1. Although they did not apply again, they were contacted one more time with an offer.

In this country, it is extremely easy for normal self-supporting people with clean homes to adopt children of any ethnicity besides white. Celebrities go overseas because they have no intention of providing stable homes to their adoptive children, and that makes US agencies very leery of them. As they should be.

The only encouraging thing I see in Bullock's case is that whatever agency (or agencies) they applied to drew what is usually a 1-2 year process out for 4 years and counting. If the 4-year thing is true, it points to a profound reservation on the part of the agency.

This story doesn't add up at all. Can't wait to hear how Bullock managed this.
