Christie Brinkley Face-Lift: Before & After PHOTOS (PICTURES, POLL)

Looks like plastic surgery was a mother-daughter decision in the Brinkley household. Yesterday we reported that Alexa Ray Joel, the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, got a nose job. Today via Star Magazine comes news of 56-year-old Brinkley's face-lift.

According to Star, the two women went under the knife one day apart at New York's Lenox Hill Hospital. The total cost was about $60,000.

A family spokesperson Alexa's surgery with Page Six: "Alexa had breathing difficulties due to a deviated septum and decided to correct the appearance of her nose at the same time....As far as Christie is concerned, she was at Lenox Hill to support her daughter, and throughout her career people have speculated that she's done this or that, which she always chooses to take as a compliment."

Lift looks more like her face is simply slimmer, and I wonder if that hat and hair are hiding something. Still, the uptown girl remains very pretty.

The only difference I see is that in the second photo she's wearing makeup.

I'd tone down the peach blush, but otherwise, gtg!

She didn't do much - just her jowls. Who wouldn't? I'm planning on it....It's not expensive....well, maybe in NYC it is.....plus w/her name.

If she'd had recent work done (as in between these two pictures) wouldn't she have less wrinkles? The angle of her face is different and the light is more flattering on the second picture but her wrinkles are exactly the same. The only thing I would say is that she's suspiciously absent of any under-chin sagging in both pictures. At 55 she should have lost at least ~some~ collagen under there.

In the "before" picture she is 55 years old. Both the pictures reflect someone that has had plastic surgery! The "before" picture was taken in natural light where as the "after" was taken with a flash. The point being is that she didn't just get plastic surgery!

The two pictures are pretty similar looking, it's hard to tell.

Truth of the matter is, the only one that this really matters to is her. If she's happy, then so be it.
She's an example of a woman who, surgery or not has aged beautifully.

The second pictures has a younger "look" to it, but that could just be styling. She wears both well. If she had surgery, I can't tell. Just looks like different makeup applications, hair & clothes to me.

She looks like all the other plastic surgery women and IMHO has lost the attractiveness she used to have.

IMHO, say goodbye to aging great Christie Brinkley.
