Naomi Campbell Signs 'No Phone Throwing' Pledge For Oprah Winfrey

Naomi Campbell opened up to Oprah Winfrey on Wednesday, with the supermodel signing a "No Phone Zone" ledge and a "No Phone Throwing Zone" pledge, WWD reports. Campbell talked about recently punching an ABC News camera when asked about the blood diamond saga and being accused of assaulting a driver in early March.

Her mother Valerie and boyfriend Vladimir Doronin were in the audience. The episode will air on Monday.

Uproar...get less stupid fast....no doubt Naomi Campbell has a bad temper...but have you taken a look at the people who she supposedly mangled....they all outweigh her a good 30-50 lbs. I have no doubt she tossed a few items., but I also have no doubt every time she got into a conflict with an employee, they could always be counted on to cry foul whether it happened or not. People are out to make a buck any way they can and working for a woman who has a reputation for a bad temper....is possibly an easy buck..."beating her cleaning staff" hahahahahahaha!

So what if her victims were 50 pounds heavier than her? The difference is that they did not hit back or throw stuff back. Your size or weight has NOTHING to do with your behavior. No one should be abusive.

Having Naomi sign a pledge like this goes to the heart of the problem. People are always trying to change Naomi, and this is wrong. Considering the fact that she is constantly subjected to living in a world where people around her pass judgement and criticize her, is it any wonder Naomi lashes out. If people would just leave Naomi alone and stop pressuring her, I am sure her attitude would change for the better. Whats more, I believe everyone who has had an altercation with Naomi knew what they were getting into. As such, those people get no sympathy from me. If someone goes up to a bear in the woods and hits it with a stick, I'm not going to cry for them when the bear bites their head off. The streets of London and N.Y. are Naomi's woods, if you go up and attack her you can't cry foul when she defends herself by retaliating in kind.

Clearly you haven't met this Supermonster...I don't think the number of assistants, housekeepers, and drivers that Naomi has abused have ever pressured her or deserved to be treated like her whipping posts. She needs to grow up. The only thing that will teach Naomi a lesson is for someone to pop her upside the head.

Actually I have met her and on first view, you are stunned at how tiny she is ...she is tall, but wisp thin and very pretty. So tell me people who do manual work for a living...cleaning houses, etc...you are telling me that can take Naomi Campbell...Bull. I suspect the toss of the phone was because they were bigger than here. Does she have problems with anger management...yeah, but I think as we see with the PAPs everyday, baiting a famous person can bring dividends...That's thejoke bushvickfreddy...why if she is so menacing and terrible hasn't someone popped her upside the head....she probably weights a 100 lbs soak and wet?
After the first few, I think people are just trying to make some money by accusing her. Also I cannot imagine the jealousy of a beautiful black woman living that lifestyle...will bet she runs into arrogant asses all the time.

There's no plastic surgery there honey....black women particularly those the color of Naomi have a high probability of keloids with plastic surgery. For black folks incisions usually heal with a raised scar rather than a flat one and it heals darker than the skin tone in the area of the incision. Also you should see her mom...you may have had PS....but it doesnt look like it and she was a beautiful woman too.

With her chronic and multiple repeat lack of impulse control, the only thing she should be signing is her valuables into a little yellow envelope before they check her into an 8 X 10.

Anyone else with her history would have done time, and more than once.

She hasn't done time because I suspect more than half of those accusations were false accusations and a significant number of the others had extenuating circumstances. Celebrities are afraid to hire staff, because they will talk about their celebrity bosses. Many people think they want jobs working for celebrities until they find out how pampered and demanding celebrities are. Young women in particular (personal assistants) get jealous fast when they see the lifestyle and they are being treated as go-fers. They then get contentious and rebellious. Rather than just quitting, they decide to create an incident and try to get some money...I believed some of the first stories because of a couple of the women were older women...but later all of her assistants were young white women....

Throwing phones and other emotionally immature acting out behavior occurs when someone is frustrated. Frustration is a feeling of being disempowered. Rather than a No Phone Throwing Petition, I'd like to see Naomi - and others who participate in this type of behavior - sign a commitment to taking full responsibility for ALL of their experiences.
