Desiree Rogers: 'I'm Not Crying For Me'

Former White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers talked to Bloomberg Businessweek at a Chicago Advertising Federation luncheon and she said she's choosing between returning to the Windy City or moving to New York.

Either way, Rogers said, "I will be fine. I'm not crying for me."

She added:

"If the worst thing that happened to me is, you know, someone said I was beautiful and I had on the wrong dress, and I should have had a clipboard, you know, OK. I'm comfortable with the work we did."

She said that she thinks she will thrive no matter her next project.

"I think I'm going to blossom. The whole experience [as Social Secretary] in many respects is going to make me feel more comfortable about who I am."
