'Seinfeld' Reimagined As Dramatic Tale Of Love Lost (VIDEO)

First Posted: 06/30/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:20 PM ET

It's amazing what some editing and music from "Shawshank" can do. In this reimagining of "Seinfeld," George's brick-of-cheese eating bachelor paradise is no more. The Summer of George is now a life of struggle and redemption after the tragic death of his beloved Susan. Poor Lily. (via Gotcha Media)

Except for the use of Chancery font it was great.

Now I know what the chronically unemployed do with their time.

They reimagine old sitcoms.

Jeez.

And so what's wrong with that?
During the First Great Depression, the government subsidized artists and writers, and it resulted in some pretty good work.

I still think Seinfeld is/was the best show on tv. Not thrilled with the last show, but out of all of those episodes....very few disappointed me. Man hands, sponge worthy, not that there is anything wrong with that, the list goes on and on

You need to watch the last season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. David acknowledges the crappy last show (through Jason Alexander) and finally gives us a better one!

That genuinely made me sad!

Only because they don't make new episodes anymore though.

This is hilarious, of course, but it holds a very interesting lesson about perceptions, TV, video, etc, clearly applicable in the political area. The stunning thing is that since he was diagnosed with and publicly announced his Alzheimers, Ronald Reagan went from being perceived as an amiable dunce who screwed up the American economy, and helped Gorbachev end the Cold War, to becoming the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Jesus Christ combined. It's mostly been done with smoke, mirrors, and sound tracks like the one employed here.

Ugh... Shrinkage!

This is going to kill Larry David, but may revive Jason Alexander's career (yet again).

Yes.

All it was missing was a scene from the Marisa Tomei episode.
