Tiger Woods, Divorce Lawyer Meet In Florida: Report

Tiger Woods Divorce Lawyer

First Posted: 07/03/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:20 PM ET

Tiger Woods met with a divorce attorney in Florida recently, according to the New York Daily News. The paper reports that Woods huddled with Jeff Fisher, who helped Greg Norman with his divorce last year. (The Australian golfer has apparently already moved on to a new love interest.)

The news follows a flurry of rumors and speculation that Woods and wife Elin Nordegren will soon divorce. Nordegren (PHOTOS) is also said to have met with attorneys and she is reportedly interested in moving back to her native Sweden, where she was photographed this weekend.

Oddsmakers say a divorce in the near future is more likely than not, and one report claimed that a divorce is "100 percent happening."

Woods continues to focus on golf, and it looks like his game will need all of the attention it can get. The world's preeminent golfer missed the cut for just the sixth time in his career on Friday after playing his second worst round as a pro.

I'm just wondering how Tiger had time to be the best golfer in the World, be a family man and have that much random sex.

So, will NIKE dump him? Or still keep him as a "ROLE MODEL" or more a Money Pit?

Amazing. This story is reported as if Tiger met for the first time now with a divorce attorney. Here is a guy that his fans seem to believe that he can honestly walk on water, has been able to preserve huge multi-million endorsement deals and give him pass after pass on his lack of performance with his return to golf, and yet, just accept that he finally got the gumption now to talk with an attorney about a divorce. No wonder, some just don't want to accept anything that he has done. I would assume his attorney's were involved in all this right after the car accident, including discussing a pending divorce too.

Tiger has been separated from his wife ( thankfully ) and his golf game. I wonder if he'll ever win again. He did say once that he only plays golf so he can scuba dive. Maybe that will be his next job, an ocean treasure hunter.

I can only hope this divorce business isn't weighing on his mind when he tees off at the Player's championship this Thursday. He should be favored......they don't call it the "Player's" for nothing!!

That's not Norman's latest divorce. His latest was Chris Evert. They didn't even last a year and did a mutual divorce that was filed in Key West. Norman and Woods are neighbors on Jupiter Island, where Tiger's brand new thirty million dollar house is just being finished. Opps.

Well you know what Tiger ? One woman, well there is a chance but 22 ? No way ! Elin should divorce him.
08:35 PM on 05/03/2010
22?? Supposedly in rehab, Tiger confessed it was 121! Poor Elin probably could have dealt with "only" 22...

Make that 121 women, so reported the National Enquirer last week.

Thank God for prenups

If he gave her an es t d, I say you tear the prenup apart and she gets half. Cheating is bad enough, but not using a condom while doing so? That's when the cheater should pay. And pay dearly.

Clearly he didn't since no mention of it yet, and of course that would leak out faster than BPs oil.

It would nor matter. A pre-nup can be overturned only by prrof of duress or fraud. That is it. Unless Elin could dhow that she was duped into signing the prenup w/o benefit of an attorney's advice and counsel, the pre-nup stands.

Remember, people, the prenup is designed to protect the assets of the rich partner. The poor partner does not have much say on the terms or else the rich partner will simply walk before marriage.

Would you *please* put up an article about Rory McIlroy and Ryo Ishikawa? We golf fans want to discuss yesterday's events and the upcoming TPC (which starts Thursday).

I know you like scandalous headlines, so since young McIlroy's girlfriend is 16 years old, maybe you could use this one:

Don't give them any ideas. The 'sports' column of the Huff Enquirer has no sports content, unless there's a sex scandal involved. Though there are lots of people here working up a good indignant sweat about human failings. Hard to tell the teabaggers from the taliban from the progressive posters here when it comes to marital infidelity.

Give her the money and let her go. Free yourself, so you can start dominating again and become even richer than before. She looks sweet, but that's about it. Drop dead gorgeous? absolutely not.

It's ironic that once Tiger is divorced, he could return to his tom-catting ways, but he won't because he no longer desires that lifestyle. Because he has gotten back to his Buddhist values.

Naw I think the thrill for Tiger was that it was forbidden to do while married. I believe that he was so rich and bored with his life that extramartial sex with mediocre diner waitresses gave him the special thrill that his stereotypical "beautiful" wife couldn't give to him. She was too easy for him to obtain. So he went on a sexual tear - picking girls up in seedy and unusual places. It was about the thrill - now that the marriage may be ending - the thrill of "dirty" sex will lose its edge.

To We Are the World---you really need to check your facts before making sweeping statements like "everyone knows your golf game goes to he-- once you get married." Jack Nicklaus was married with five children and won 18 majors.

The divorce won't help his game. HGH and steroids were his true loves.

Why would he need steroids for golf. He isn't that big of a guy. Maybe for a golfer but if you took him to a college football locker room he would practically be the smallest guy in there.
03:20 PM on 05/03/2010
Should never have gotten married, Tiger. Everyone knows that your golf game goes to he// once you get married.
